Formed during the U.S. Bicentennial of 1976 Abilene melds the genres of Rock, Country, Bluegrass, Blues and Cajun music with a hard-driving stage performance that has electrified audiences throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey for three decades. Best known for high-harmonies, multi-instrumentation and an edgy brand of outlaw country-rock Abilene shared the stage with and drew their material from some of the progenitors of the genre, including The Flying Burrito Brothers (precursors of the Eagles), The Charlie Daniels Band and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Abilene has often found themselves on the same stage with legends from diverse musical categories, including The Beach Boys, Dakota, country singer-songwriter Lacy J. Dalton, blues great James Cotton, southern rock kings Lynyrd
Skynyrd, and Ricky Skaggs, the heir-apparent to bluegrass icon Bill Monroe.

The Boot Hill Gang is a band from SW Pennsylvania.
The band's combined talent allows great versatility and the ability to

provides the group with a wide range.
Born in Allentown, PA., Valerie attended Penn State where she received a B.S. in Marketing. But she had set her sights on a musical career early on and at the age of 4 was already singing and playing piano (by ear). After one semester at Penn State, Valerie auditioned for a Southeastern Pennsylvania - based cover band, the Starlites. She became their first female vocalist in their 20 year history. It was during these years with the Starlites that she developed into a captivating performer and powerhouse vocalist. Valerie still performs with the Starlites performing sometimes 6 nights a week.
Her vocal range is impressive. But what really stands out is the variety and honesty she gives to each song. It's only a matter of time before the name Valerie Borman is as well known as Shania Twain or The Dixie Chicks.

I was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. The youngest of six, I always dreamed of making a difference.
Singing country music has come to capture the very heart of me. Whenever a situation would arise in my life, there was always a good country song to help me through. So today, I want nothing more than to share the gift that God has given to me with my audience.
Garth Brooks has been my inspiration and roll model. He has given me the courage to stand
up on that stage and express the deepest emotions possible through a song.
I am accomplishing what I set out to do so long ago, to make a difference. If I am able to reach even one person through a song, then I feel I will have truly made that difference.
God Bless.

"Girlz in Black Hats" band was officially formed in January of
2005 by a group of friends from the Frazier High School in Perryopolis.
Their original intent was to gang together to win a talent show at their
school and show the "boy bands" just who's boss in this world.
Mission accomplished as they took first place performing "The Devil
Went Down to Georgia" & "Suds in the Bucket". Since then,
their individual talents and love of country music have been fused together
to create a dynamic mix that focuses on the feminine aspects of life from
the young woman's perspective.

Back in 1999, a rag-tag group of friends joined together to compete
in the annual Colgate Country Showdown. Dan, Andy, Sandy, Joe and their
friend Jared Comastro called themselves 'What Exit', a goof on a Jersey
saying. With only one song under their belt, they made it to the local leg
of the contest and got to play at WXTU's Annual Anniversary Show. After the
contest was over, they walked away with second place... not good enough to
continue in the contest, but enough to realize that they had something.
Thinking nothing of it, the group disbanded. The next year, Dan
somehow convinced Joe to get back playing as lead guitarist and Bill joined
the group as the drummer. Sandy returned shortly after to play rhythm
guitar. After his (very) short lived stint in Oregon, Andy came back to
Jersey and then picked up a bass to join with the group with Kenny coming
into the group about a year later. In May of 2002, the band got
together to write their first original and decided that it was good enough
to try the Colgate Country Showdown once again. Even though they came up
short in the contest, the band won the ears of a few bar owners and the XTU
radio station. Within a short amount of time afterwards, the band was
steadily booked for bars and events all over the tri-state region.
